Congratulations Holly Springs Express on winning runner up at the 2008 Hickory Flat Bash Tournament!
Strong offense, sound pitching, and solid fundamental baseball helped the Holly Springs Express capture 2nd place in the Hickory Flat Bash tournament held June 14-17 at Thomas Field.
Led by offensive MVP’s Johnathon Kelley (who batted .667 with five (5) doubles and six (6) RBI’s) and Macen Bailey (who batted .500 with four (4) RBI’s), the Express outscored its opponents 40-17 during tournament play. Another offensive standout was Blake Miller. Outstanding pitching performances were delivered by Billy Lummus, Troy Weaver, and Connor Rice.
